Georgia Nevada is a chart-topping UK based Country singer-songwriter with a brand based on grace, moonshine and style that stands out within modern Country. Nevada's unique approach to the country-rock genre has been described as having an 'honest and exciting' sound.
Since September 2020, Georgia Nevada has released two no.1 Singles (UK Country iTunes Chart), broken the Top 40 at no. 36 in the all genre charts (iTunes) and has released a further three Top 3 singles (UK Country iTunes Charts), 2 of which were highly acclaimed collaborations. These were followed by 'Sin On A Shoestring' which soared to the second spot in the UK charts (iTunes Country Chart).
Following these successful releases, Georgia was nominated for UK Female Vocalist at the BCMA awards in 2021, Best Artist and Best New Artist at the CCMA awards and has also received a nomination for Best Music Video at the UKCMSA awards.
Georgia Nevada has been added to the lineup of some of the UK’s biggest Country Music Festivals, Buckle and Boots and Millport Country Music Festival. Nevada also performed at the BCMA showcase and has supported the likes of Katy Hurt, Kezia Gill, Jade Helliwell and Ags Conolly.
Nevada has also been played on both Absolute Country and Countryline Radio (formerly Chris Country) as well as being an ‘artist of the day’ on BBC Introducing.
Nevada has developed a strong, and supportive fan base off the back of these accomplishments and she is a poignant member of an ever-growing UK Roots and Americana community.
Georgia's musical journey began as early as is possible to remember when she would visit her family over in the States. Her nan in particular would bring home country music CD’s for her dad to play on repeat in the car. Early influences for Nevada came from the likes of Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and Kenny Chesney. Her style has now developed to Country-Rock with influences being taken from The Cadillac Three, Ashley Mcbryde and Elle King.
